Asim Raza
Asim Raza () ( ; born August 21, 1966) is a Pakistani architecture, film, commercial and music video director. Raza begin his career as an architect and work with architectural firm Arshad Shahid Abdullah (PVT) LTD before entering into film industry. He began his film career by directing television commercials for ''Coca-Cola'', ''Sprite'', ''Lux'' etc. for over twenty-years, during which he also directed and produced several ventures, including music concerts and singles for several bands including ''Junoon'' and ''Awaz'', last concert of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan in 1997 and Lux Style Awards ceremony in 2003. In 2004, Asim won the Lux Style Award for Best Music Video Director for "Mahi Ve". In 2013, Asim directed a television film, ''Behadd'' which earned him critical acclaim and recognition, the film won the Hum Award for Best Television Film at 2nd Hum Awards. Asim marked his film directional debut with musical-comedy ''Ho Mann Jahaan'', and owns a production company The Vision Factory. == Early life and education== Asim Raza was born on August 21, 1966 in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan to a Muslim Parents. After finishing his early education in Karachi, he joined the National College of Arts Lahore. However, Asim pursue his career with BS in Architectural Engineering from Dawood College of Engineering and Technology, Karachi. He then completed his MS in Architectural Engineering from the Bartlett School of Architecture, University College London. After finishing his studies in 1992, he practiced architecture for a couple of years with the prominent architectural firm, Arshad Shahid Abdullah (PVT) LTD.
